Thrower Guitar Studio offers private and group guitar instruction to people of all ages and levels of experience. Lessons are offered in-person or online via Skype or Zoom. Instruction takes place weekly during hour or half-hour sessions and are scheduled after registration is completed.In-Person Lessons are held both at Berry College in Rome, GA and in Canton, GA.
Online Lessons Don’t live in the area or simply prefer taking lessons from the comfort of your own space? Online Lessons can be a great alternative to in-person lessons with easier scheduling and quality resources to ensure progress.
About Instructor
Sean Thrower is a versatile guitarist with years of performance and teaching experience. He is on staff as Artist Affiliate at Berry College and Artist in Residence in Guitar at Kennesaw State University and has taught guitar privately in his own studio for over a decade. He has both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Georgia in Music Performance. During his graduate study, Sean was a teaching assistant and taught courses on guitar methods.Sean has authored three guitar books to date including Traversing the Fretboard: Utilizing the CAGED System in More Ways than One, The Segovia Scales, and Classical Guitar: Contemporary Concepts. He is also the founder of Guitar Ramble, a website/blog dedicated to providing quality guitar-related content for musicians all playing styles.
His students span all ages and all levels of ability with many returning for years of study. Sean is dedicated to his craft and his students and can provide many useful teaching tools and techniques which he tailors to an individual's personal goals.

Lessons are offered in a variety of styles and genres. Beginning students will start with basic lessons on the instrument which, once accomplished, grant the students the opportunity to develop proficiency in the style(s) they most desire to play..

Course Pricing
Lessons are once a week for either 30 minute or 1 hour sessions.Policies: Payment is due in full by the start of each lesson (or the first lesson of a cycle).
Cancellations must be made with at least a 24 hour notice to be considered for rescheduling. All other absences forfeit the missed lesson. Payments can be made online or in person.
